You don’t have to find the right words before you ask for help. Start with what you’ve noticed.
A cough, a sneeze, a laugh or a run. Leaks during everyday activities are a reason to seek support.
Urgency and frequent toilet trips can affect how you plan your day, your exercise and your time away from home.
Concerns about leaks or intimate wellbeing can affect confidence. A private conversation is a useful first step.
These symptoms do not always mean your pelvic floor needs strengthening. Pain, pelvic pressure or a heavy feeling should be assessed by a GP or pelvic health physiotherapist so you can explore the right options.

THE ULTRA TESLA SEAT IN BRICKET WOOD
The Ultra Tesla Seat uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy to stimulate repeated contractions of the pelvic floor muscles. It is designed to strengthen weak muscles while you remain seated and fully clothed.
It may be an option for women and men following an assessment. Your practitioner will discuss your symptoms, suitability and expectations before recommending a course.
No need to change into a gown.
Allow extra time for your initial consultation.
Suitability and a treatment plan are discussed first.
Treatment is non-invasive and non-surgical. Results vary, and it is not appropriate for every pelvic floor concern. Chair treatment does not replace a medical assessment or an advised pelvic floor exercise programme.
YOUR FIRST VISIT TO BRICKET WOOD
A clear explanation, time for your questions and a plan that starts with you.
Discuss your concerns, health history and what you’d like support with. We’ll check whether chair treatment is appropriate for you.
If suitable, you’ll be shown the chair and talked through the sensations and settings before your treatment begins.
Ask about your recommended course, pricing and aftercare, with a clear understanding of what to expect.
WOMEN AND MEN. REAL-LIFE CONCERNS.
Pelvic floor concerns can arise at different stages of life. Pregnancy and childbirth, ageing, menopause, weight changes and some pelvic or prostate procedures can all be relevant to your history.
The aim of your consultation is to understand what matters to you: feeling more confident about exercise, social plans or intimate wellbeing, and finding out whether this treatment is suitable.
Treatment is not suitable during pregnancy. After childbirth or surgery, timing and any medical clearance must be checked individually.

Outcomes differ and cannot be guaranteed. Leaks can have different causes, so an assessment matters. A GP or pelvic health physiotherapist can help identify the cause and advise on suitable options, including pelvic floor exercises.
